Photographers debate
among each other over the matter of whether pricing should be available
on the web or over the telephone. The problem has been that comparing
price alone does not take into account the other things that matter,
such as skill, quality and personality. However, there is no reason to surprise anyone unnecessarily concerning pricing. The last thing we want to do is to embarrass someone by not being straightforward about our pricing up front. So in the interest of saving your time and ours, the brief summary is as follows: Local wedding packages start at $2,495, and run to $5,995, and this includes a whole list of features. Local for us is North-Central Alabama. We routinely photograph weddings from Birmingham on the south to the Tennessee state line on the north. We would be very pleased to work up a special package just for you. In-studio portraits normally require a session fee of $50 for about an hour's session. Location portraiture costs a bit more. There are many things we can do, which simply cannot be addressed by answering the frequently heard question, "How much is an 8 by 10?" We do not do cookie-cutter work. Commercial and architectural work is quoted on a day-rate basis, plus any expenses and travel. We would be glad to bid on your commercial work.
